What are my rights regarding viewings?

As a landlord, you have the right to access the rented property according to lejelovens § 102 ("when circumstances require it"), which includes viewings for potential buyers. The tenant must allow access, but you must give reasonable notice.

If the tenancy is terminated, § 186 also applies: the tenant sets the time but must ensure access for at least 2 hours every other weekday at a time convenient for viewing.

Tenants cannot condition viewings on a rent tribunal waiver or require you to cover their legal costs as a condition for access.
